The embroidery design is our own and based on antique Jacobean embroideries, which we love. It's embroidered on a special pure silk brocade that is vintage and probably about fifty years old. It was originally designed for making church vestments and hangings originally and would have been made in England or France. It has a rich sheen that's difficult to capture in a photograph but
